If you really like the guy, I would tell your friend. Seeing as she is your best friend then I'm sure she'll understand, and from your question, it doesn't sound like they've got together yet. I'm sure your friend will appreciate your honesty.

I completely disagree with the above answer. Seeing as she is your best friend is all the more reason to back off. Do you really think she would understand something like that? Are you really willing to betray a friend like that? Do you really think telling your friend you have a crush on the guy she likes, and who likes her, too is something she would appreciate?
If you really consider yourself a friend, you will respect the fact that the guy likes your friend, and that she likes him back. No guy is worth betraying a friend like that.
The right thing for you to do is to keep your feelings to yourself, and don't do anything to come between your friend and the guy. How would you feel if the guy liked you instead of her, and she betrayed you by going after him, knowing you and he liked each other?
