The installation process for Mac OS X is usually automated. All you need to do is double click on the package that contains the game to be installed. If the game has been downloaded from the internet it is usually in a .dmg file (eg gamename.dmg) or it may, particularly if it is on a CD, be an Install package (eg Install gamename). Either way double click the icon and follow the prompts to install the game on to the hard disk. Some downloads are compressed, to make downloading faster, into a zip file (eg gamename.zip) double click the .zip file to uncompress it and then double click the icon to install as above.

The most common location would be C:\Windows and your system32 folder would be C:\Windows\System32. Where C: usually the default hard drive the OS is installed on, but it could actually be anything A-Z.

I dont think the iPod series has a disk. I think the "disk" is solid state memory. The music is held in digital format (as nmbers).
If you do not have a recovery disk and your computer crashes and you lose everything, which I hope doesn't happen, but without a recovery disk, your computer will be worthless and it will have nothing to work on. It will be empty.
Zip disk
Just go to youjizz.com enter a disk and choose the game file then put convert to disk.
