I have a hole in my gums.the bottom row. it hurts to chew.I do have braces though.iNEED ANSWER asap.what is it?

I have this stubborn hole in my gums too. It also hurts when you brush your teeth. >_< I don't think it would make a difference if you had braces, but I've heard you get this if you eat junk food and sugar often. I don't know for sure, but I've noticed I have gotten them after I ate a lot of sweets. :l
