You did not mention your age. Poor memory is a normal side effect of aging, and usually begins to show up in the mid-50's -- but sometimes sooner. That can be slowed by mental exercises such as playing card games that require memory, crossword puzzles, and similar mental exercises. I read recently of computer games that are designed to help seniors with memory loss, but can't recall where. ;)
