It may be a loose hubcap. I have four loose ones on my 2000 impala. Cheverolet designed the hubcaps with separate plastic bolts (which looke like real lug nuts) to hold the hubcap on. i think you should check your hub bearing.when they go they usually start to growl

Answer this is a common problem with impalas due to a loose connection under the drivers seat. If you grab the bunch of wires under the seat and move them around,,,,,theres a good chance your light will go out. Mine did on 2000 impala and so did someone elses that had the same isssue. good luck
