It may be a loose hubcap. I have four loose ones on my 2000 impala. Cheverolet designed the hubcaps with separate plastic bolts (which looke like real lug nuts) to hold the hubcap on. i think you should check your hub bearing.when they go they usually start to growl

Q: I have a roaring noise on the drivers side wheel on a 2003 Chevy Impala. There is no vibration and it starts around 35 mph and as the car goes faster so does the roaring. It's not my tire.?
