I have a small bump on the roof of my mouth has been there for about 3-4 years. Doesn't hurt and hasn't gotten bigger. Is it anything to be worried about.?

Why would a man have a lump under his nipple that has gotten bigger over the past month?
My husband has developed a lump (or cyst?) under his nipple within the last month. We are worried it could be a tumor (possibly cancerous?). It has gotten bigger in the past 2 weeks. If anyone has experienced this or knows anything about this, please let me know. We don't really have the money to go see a doctor if it will go away on its' on or is something we need not worry about. He is 55 years old and in very good shape. Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
