I have got a spare mk3 mondeo key with fob it turns on power but won't start the car. Can anybody please advise how to program with out the expense?

you need to go to fords and get a new key, the normal keys are electronically chipped to the fuel injectors and the spare keys dont have this chip therefore no petrol is running through.....
