im expecting that by drive u mean hard drive
the hard drive may be in a diffrent file system, damaged, or be placed wrongly on the cord.
if it is in a diffrent file system, u need a windows install disc. first place the jumper on master and put it where the main drive goes, put the CD in the CD drive and start the computer. u need to get to the boot settings if i remember correctly hit f2 when the PC boot's. then chose boot from CD drive. the CD will run and u will find yourself at a page showing u partitiond and unpartitiond space, delete the current partition and create a new one with the desierd file system most likely ntfs
If it is damaged, odviously u need a new hard drive.
and it may also be wrongly connected, it needs to be at the end of the hard drive cord if it is the main drive and be on the second or middle connection if slave, also with the correct jumper placement, see the hard drive for info on jumper placement
hope this helps
