My opinion is yes, deep down inside yourbest friend still might like this guy. Even if she really didn't, just to be on the safe side you shouldn't. No guy can replace one of your bestfriend's.

No, unless he really dumped her hard and in a mean way, then a little guilt yes. And if your friend cares about you she'll tell you the truth if she likes him or not, and she'll take the bullet so you can be with him
