Make your complaint in writing. They should either repair or replace the stove.
I have this same problem....apparently you can replace the insulation.
You should replace the glass, but if it is too much for your budget then call a repair man to make sure the cracked glass is the problem. Other things you could do is buy a new oven.
duno Google it or even bing search it
I see no reason to prohibit a built in oven on an inside wall. Certainly there is no problem if this is an electric oven. If the oven is heated with gas, proper venting will be necessary for the combustion gases. Your contractor should know the building codes for the area in which you live. Check with your county government office if you are planning on doing the work yourself.
It would typically cost anywhere from two hundred to three thousand dollars to repair, or replace an oven depending on the type and brand of the oven.
it would better to buy a new one .
Gas ovens are very safe even to use inside apartments. One must follow safety instructions carefully and must get maintenance and servicing in time. If you do not try to repair yourself and if you do not bypass any safety systems then there should be no problem.
well try and cook somthing in it and if it tasts funny or dosent cook well replace it
my daughter has a built in Martha Washington double oven and the top one quit working can I find one to replace these ovens.
Loss of paint in the cavity (the cooking area) of a microwave oven isn't a safety problem unless that spot is rusting and has rusted through. That will leave a hole in the cavity, and that is a safety problem.
If you are referring to the cable from oven to plug, this can be a sign of an electrical problem . Get an electrician or appliance tech to check it and the wall socket it plugs into.
When the heat in an oven can not be controlled it is the fault of the oven's thermostat. It is the thermostat that opens and closes to maintain a set point temperature. Depending on how the thermostat failed it will give the results of the oven always being on, oven with no heat whatsoever or when the calibration is not set correct, when wrong temperature is maintained.
