I lost my remote key to my 2003 VW Beetle and I am trying to buy a new one but how do you find the part number without having the key?

It is important to note the key has a chip in it that needs to be programmed.Most independent shops are not equipped to do this .Master key itself is sold as two separate pieces
1J0-837-246-F-INB for the upper piece, which is where the blade is, and were the computer chip is.
1J0-959-753-DC for the remote section.
