The clear sac is known as a gestational sac. It often carries the fetus, whenever it is completely clear without any blood sacs it is known as a 'missed miscarriage'.
The clear sac most likely had blood clots, which may have contained the fetus. This is known as the gestational sac. The actual term for a missed miscarriage would be 'blighted ovum'.
When I miscarried there was a clear gel-like sac that came out. I had a blighted ovum so there was no fetus in the sac. Later a large piece of tissue passed, that was the placenta.
