I've been in Kansas and I've been in San Francisco.
Convince her to move to San Francisco. OR, you could move to Kansas, but ... like I said, I've been in both places, and San Francisco is a less miserable place climate-wise. If you're used to Kansas San Francisco will seem like paradise most of the year; if you're used to San Francisco Kansas will seem like purgatory (if not worse) most of the year.
You don't give your ages, which makes a big difference. If you're both adults then moving may make sense; if you're both kids, then ... not so much (i.e. "not at all").
