I just asked a girl that I liked for years out and she said yes even though she acted like she hated me. Text him about what he is doing tell him what your doing and leave xx's at the end and flirt with him lightly, eventually it will come. To get over him don't hang out with him that much and look for other guys. I know this from personal experience, trust me.
