sounds like we are having the same type of issue, I replaced ignition Module and coil pack, and still no spark the last thing to change is the Computer.
Have the ignition module and coil packs checked.
ignition control module
check your plug wires, then your coil packs, then your ignition module.
both the 3100 and 3800 series engines have the ignition control module mounted under the coil packs. remove the coil packs and there it is.
The module is located underneath the coil packs.
Is located under the coil packs
it is located behind the coil packs
under the coil packs and the coil packs are connected to the spark plug wires
The ignition control module is located on the left side of the engine, it is what the coil packs are attached to. If you remove both coil packs and unplug the two connections it will come right off.
The ignition control module is located directly beneath the coil packs. These can be found at the rear of the engine, on the top center. Just look for where all the spark plug wires connect, those are the coil packs, and they are bolted to the ignition control module. It has three electrical connectors, two on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side.
UNDER THE COIL PACKS
no it has a distributorless ignition system. it cosists off two coil packs and the ignition control module that sits under them
