Yes, this is completely normal once you come off the pill.

Birth Control suppresses your menstrual cycles so you don't ovulate and don't menstruate, the bleeding you had on the pill was a withdrawal bleed so can be shorter than menstruation. Now you're off the pill your body is having to regulate itself again and reestablish normal cycles. Your period may be a little longer than your withdrawal bleed, nothing to worry about.
