When using Birth Control its to protect you from sex so that you will not get pregant and yes you will still continue to get you period
Sometimes birth control can cause your periods to be irregular. But you must also note that you should be on birth control for at least 4 weeks before having intercourse without a backup method (i.e condoms). A lot of anti-biotics can nuetralize your birth control so you should use condoms or another form of birth control for at least 3-4 weeks after finishing your anit-biotics( and during the use of them). You also need to take the pill the same time EVERY night. Every pill you miss, your chances of pregnancy increases greatly. If you are having sex, take an at-home pregnancy test either the day of your expected period or 14 days after having intercourse to determine if you are pregnant.
The pullout method is the most unreliable method of birth control. Pregnancy is always a possibility - be protected.
I hate to break it to you......get an appointment for an abortion.
I am also on Citalopram as well as being on birth control and I've had my period every month like I was supposed to. It did take a little longer for it to start for me. I am on a Tuesday start and it usually started around Thursday night or the latest one started Friday night. That's all the delay I have experienced in about 5 months. If you have any concerns, call your doctor, as usual. They're the only one who can tell you based on your specific case, of course.
Yes, the birth control pill will be effective at any time that you choose that is convenient for you. However, you must take your birth control pills everyday at the same time in order for it to remain effective.
Birth control is 99% effective IF taken properly. This includes taking it the same time every night, not missing any PILLS, not taking anti-biotics etc. Each time you miss a pill or, are taking anti-biotics etc, your chances of becoming pregnant increases.
Use birth control if you don't want an "instant family."
Taking the next birth control pill early does not impact effectiveness. Taking it late may.
yes, especially if you take it at night. try taking the pill earlier in the day or eating after you take it at night
If you miss one dose of your birth control you become more fertile. So the answer to your question is yes if you miss a pill and have intercourse you are more likely to become pregnant.
If you are taking your birth control pills every night (around the same time) the way you are supposed to, there should only be around a 1% chance that you could become pregnant. But a woman is going to become pregnant when she is ovulating and for most women, not all though, ovulation occurs about 14 days before her next period. The CORRECT answer There is NOT a 1% chance of pregnancy. There is only 1 in a 1000 chance of pregnancy in a YEAR if taking the pill properly. Also the pill stops you ovulating so even 14 days before a withdrawal bleed (NOT a true period) you are not going to get pregnant.
Brief Description: I had unprotected sex around 11 pm and i normally take my meds at 8 pm every night. I woke up at 9 in the morning the next day and thought i forgot to take my medicine the night before so i jumped up and took my medicine without realizing i already took it on time that night and now i had just taken the one for today 11 hours too early. will my body still have that birth control in me to protect me from the sex from that night? if that makes sense?
