I took in a 5 year old dog a year and a half ago I have tryed many things even invisible fencing but he still jumps the fence hes 6 now does anyone know how the keep my dog home fence is 5 feet high?

Now this is a question that i can relate to. We have two labrador retreivers, a 100 and 50 lb. They are two years old and full of energy and need lots of room to run and play. We also just got a 4 month border collie puppy. I don't know what we would do without our fenced in back yard. My dad and me built a fence around 1.5 acres. We used a cattle panel/meshing in the woods and we made our own wood fence in the front of the house so that it would look nice. The fence is about 6 feet high and none of our dogs have been able to escape yet. We are able to leave them all three outside and play. We have not had any problems with them breaking down the cattle panel or anything. This is not the most cheapest money, as it is pretty pricy but it has kept our dogs safe and provided good excersize for our animals. I will never use the invisible fence or other products ever again. A plain old wooden fence works the best.
