I used to have a hamster but I was 8 to 9 years old and I wouldn't take care of it only play with it your mother took care of it but now I'm 12 and want a dwarf hamster what do I do?

First i would either get a book on basic hamster training(eg. food, taming , temperament,handling) or look it up on web.
Then look for a suitable cage for a dwarf hamster (habitrail mini may be a good option).
(i would assemble cage before getting hamster as you may find a problem with it).
After finding a suitable place for it in your room and having bought in food and bedding you should be good to go.

WOW! Nearly 3 years! I'm afraid that is in about 90-100 years old in human years. Dwarf hamsters usually only live until roughly a year an a half. well i don't have a Chinese dwarf hamster, but i have a Russian dwarf hamster and he is over 3 years old. he will be 3 years 1 month old on the 7th July. ive got no idea what age he is in human years i have no idea i need some help to find out
