check the fuel pump cut off. Most newer model vehicles have a fuel cut off switch to stop the flow of fuel after an accident. there should be a reset button, either in the trunk, or in one of the front footwells. If you can't find it, call local dealer and they can tell you exact location.
I replaced an alternator on a 2002 Nissan Altima but the drive belt is now too loose even with it having an automatic belt tensioner
Lots! Don't get one and if you have one get rid of it now!!
Is it cranking but not firing? Does it sound like there is rushing air as it cranks? Both yes.... You blew the head gasket and/or warped the head and now have no compression. :-(
Damaged fuel pump?
Yes, the Nissan Altima only requires that you use Regular fuel. Premium iix not necessary and will provide no benefit whatsoever. Now, if you are referring to E-85 fuel that is totally different from 85 octane. You cannot and should not burn E-85 in your Altima.
For now the car dealership is the only one able to program the Nissan smart key. You can buy the key themselves on Ebay.
take it to the Nissan dealer like I did with my 93 altima with heads up display. The first mechanic that tried, suggested this, and it works fine now.
my car overheated and now i have excessive water coming out the tailpipe of my 97 Nissan altima . is the head gasket blown ?
my Nissan elgrand just cut out when I was driving it now it wont start can you help me
Yes, this is true for the 2.5 engine. The part # has been updated a number of times by Nissan and both cam and crank sensors are now the same part#.
For now that is a dealer - only issue
Average yearly mileage is 12,000 a year, so a 2001 car should have 84,000 miles or less.
