I was on the pill had to stop i switched to nuvaring this is my 1st week of having it out placebo pills usually got period on Thursday its Friday still nothin no sex since before last period?

If you have not had sex you know you are not pregnant, it is possible the hormones in NuvaRing are enough to prevent the withdrawal bleeding you had while on BCP. One possible side effect of the NuvaRing is for bleeding to stop completely.
You should replace the device on the day it is due, if you have withdrawal bleeding or not. (more information at link)
