You are joking, right? You've had "no prior offenses" but in the previous sentence you were pulled over for a "2nd offense" driving without a license. (?) Sounds like that IS a "prior offense" in terms of the laws. You obviously knew that you were violating the laws by driving (again) on a suspended license, so the act might be construed as being "pre-meditated" and trying deliberately to skirt around the written laws. That alone would make one believe that there would be no way one could get a lesser punishment. The laws are written for your protection, too.
