I was taking norethisterone to delay my period i stopped taking it 3 days ago i have since took pregnancy test as period not started can taking norethisterone give a positive pregnancy test?

Stop taking norethisterone no period for two months?
I have been on norethisterone for 2 months I came on my period as normal after 2 -3 days like my doctor said I would started the next course as advised then stopped as advised then I had a `show` 48 hours after stopping the last tablet but no normal period. I have since had a pregnancy test which proved negative and am due another pregnancy urine and blood test tomorrow, The doctor has advised me to not take any more tablets and to see what results I get from these tests tomorrow

I dont think the fetus breathes. a pregnancy test will pick up the HCG level in the womans urine or blood. that is what will give you your answer.

If you stopped leaking and then suddenly started leaking again, that is a possible sign of pregnancy. But if you have never stopped leaking, then it's probably that you just haven't "dried up" yet. It takes some women longer than others.

It will be reabsorbed back into your uterus and will be shed when the menstrual cycle does begin. The minimal amount of HCG that can typically be detected by urine home tests is 25 mIU/ml. So... technically yes, until the levels drop back below the minimal amount you will test as positive for pregnancy even though you are not.

If the embryo stopped developing soon after implanting this would be possible, if you never had a positive test -it is more likely you weren't pregnant.

you could be but most likely not. pregnancy symptoms are so common and sometimes mock pre menstrual symptoms (pms). you should get a positive result on a pregnancy test by now if you are.
