I was told to put salt in your tank to help your guppies breed does this also help them to give birth?

1 tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water, it should help them breed and give birth. If you have pregnant female that hasn't given birth after 28 or more days, try doing a partial water change (15 to 20%)
