I woke up tonight and was awakened this morning with the feeling of the need to throw up but couldn't there where no other symptoms and I am not pregnant what could this be?

You aren't pregnant? How could you possibly know? tests fail rather often. If you have already tested yourself. Do it again. IT sounds like morning sickness to me. Have you been drinking? it could be dry heaves during a hangover (or a sobering up).
