you would have too have a daily routine and eat healthy and you would have to jog walk and do exercises like push ups at least 10 some sit ups round about five of them and for all you kids out there dont drink coke.
drinking water a lot is what i would do. every time you feel like eating unhealthy, go for water instead. eating healthy is one of the easiest thing to do to lose weight. but if you don't like the taste , then drink water. it works perfectly for me. exercising is one of the hard ones but make it fun. play a sport, ride on a bike, have running races with your friends and lots more as long as your staying active.
i have the same problem as you when i was 11 but then i lost around 3-9 kilograms in 1 week because i did those things everyday. hi i am kittycat16807 i have a friend that has the same problem and i would say do drink water but not when ever you are hungery i would say eat a apple or a bannana drink water with or after but not every time you are feeling like you want a snack if you want ask your mom if she will take you on your bike and ride around the naborhood try doing that try to stay away from things like fat foods like frys,brugers,pop,candy bars,any fryid foods. try doing that for a week or two then tell wat happend to you.

Take the weight you want to be and times it by 10 to find out how many calories to eat to reach and maintain that weight. Example=If you want to weigh 180 pounds you should be eating 1800 calories a day. Don't forget to take into account you can eat more calories if you excercise.

Okkaayyy first, losing 40 pounds is A LOT. And 10 year olds should seriously not be worrying about their weight. But if you must, then exercise more. Go on a run every day. If you live by the beach, walk with a friend there once a weekend. And skip dessert half the week. :D good luck!

If u r uncomfortable with your weight you should go and talk to your doctor or pediatrition but if you eat the following you will be the right weight for you size: 1000-2000 calories up tp 20g of sat. fat under 6g of salt under 90g of sugars gd luck b in happy :-)
