It will depend on how far from the goal the student is at the end of the school year. Most students do,however, need to attend summer school when their goal in nwea is not met.

The only summer school offered in Ascension Parish is for those students who fail the LEAP test. That means you would have to be in the 4th, 8th, 10th, or 11th grade. I do think that you can attend summer school in EBR for 7th grade.
There is possibility of summer school to collect needed credits or to pass a child who had issues in a class or two.
