Straight perms usually last 5 months-1 year, and when it wears out, your hair will be all jacked up (the newly grown hair at the top will be curly, and the bottom will be kinda straight) i suggest you just flat iron your hair until the curly hair grows out, and then cut off the sraight hair on the bottom. :]

Yes! I have never met a person with straight hair with "flyaways." I have wavy hair (ex: straight on top of the head, curls at the end of hair) and i have these when I put my hair up. They've been a real bother to me, but they have grown on me as well :) If you do not like these flyaways, simply hairspray them down, or use a bobbypin.

My hair never stays straight when I straighten it . It always goes back to it's natural wave . . But; I finally found out how to keep it from doing that Hair Spray . . Lots . . I have thick straight hair and what i do is use hairspray and spray before i do the area im curling and then it usually stays longer. Also, to make it extra curly pull the top layer of hair in to a little ponytail and do the bottom. Then let it drop and curl the top layer. Once your all done just spay lots of hair spray(: ---------------------------------- Thats a good answer, but also you can always try different curling techniques. Different Curls, overnight curlers, spiral curling iron, maybe try a different brand of curling irons? Also it depends on what temp. you keep it at. Straight hair w/ a ceramic iron is good to curl at 5-11 ------------------------------------- That's a great idea! I sleep with my hair in to huge buns on the top of my head. Just wet your hair before bed and put some curl jel in your hair. after that put your hair into buns and when you wake up you have curly hair!!!

with a hair straightener. :P well if your hair is curly (well it depends on what kind of curly hair you have. I have curly hair but its not like the afro kind. its just curls im mixed and im dominican so if i wasnt spanish i would have curly afro hair. With my hair i have to get in the shower first wash my hair, then get out let it dry make sure everythings dry no wet spots! and DONT use any product in your hair or it will ruin it entirely! and after it is dry then use the straightner and straighten ur hair. i straighten mine from the bottom 1st then work my way up to the top of and 2 my roots. try not 2 burn ur eyes it hurts kind of. and go ovr it once then go ovr it again. and then its straight!

Start at the top of your hair as if going to straighten your hair, but as you pull down you twist the straightners aswell to make the curl. Hope this helps :)
Will straight hair look good in a perm?
Yes. My hair was straight with only a little wave, I put it in a perm a year ago and it was awesome...just remember, it's permanent. I'm sick of it now, but I have to wait until it finishes growing out. If I don't do anything to my hair, the top of it is straight and then near my ears it's wavy. Not so awesome.
