On a windows server its known as a bundle. The two NICS combine in software using a single virtual MAC address.
On a switch, this is typically known as am etherchannel or port-channel. both the computer and the switch have to support the LACP protocol.
The reason I say "sort of" is that even with two NIC cards bundled together with LACP, every frame of data between two hosts is sent across the same individual interface. so if all your traffic is from one computer to another computer or gateway, then you're still using only one NIC.
NOTE: making multiple connections from one switch to one computer that does not support LACP will most likely create a spanning-tree loop that brings your whole network down. Make sure you know what your doing!!!!
If the computer is connected by a USB cord to a powered USB switch, then many connections can be made.

Some camcorders have a slot where a USB cable can be connected and imported into the computer. Some camcorders also use "Firewire" connection which is faster and better than USB. Some do not have direct connection, therefore you must buy an input output box that has connections on it for both your computer and your camcorder.
ICS is an abbreviation of Internet Connection Sharing, which allows one computer to connect directly to the Internet and share the connection with one or more computers on the same network. This was common practice with older dial-up connections where one computer had to release the Internet connection to allow another to gain Internet access. By sharing the same connection, one computer (the ICS host) could remain connected and share it with the others (ICS clients). With modern ADSL routers and always-on connections, this is no longer an issue.
If you are using Internet Explorer, please go to Tools----Internet options----connections---- and choose "Never dial a connection". I feel this should resolve the problem.
I would make sure all connections are secure tightly and well connected. Also make sure all outer connections like the connection from the monitor to the box is well connected.Maybe the RAM sticks are not sitting tightly or check the cables to the hard drive that are well connected.
To get connected to Network Computer must have installed & configured NIC (Network Interface Card). Then connect RJ45 port on your computer to existing Network Switch ports available in the Network with a Cat5 or Cat6 cable.
If you have iTunes program installed on your computer and the computer is connected to the Internet then you have all you need

Basically, one computer is used as a "bridge" for the other computer. So in the Network Connections, you have a wizard to create a new connection. If the other PC is connected direclty with a modem, then your other computer will have access to internet via this other comp.
The sky home page connection is as secure at the connection you have on your computer. The Sky homepage suggests you use virus protection programs to protect your computer. It's as secure as other connections on your computer.
