It will take about three months for the work permit and social security number to come out, then another three months are needed for the actual green card. In other words, it will take total of 6months or even less as long as your application and the documents are correct and everything is perfectly prepared and sent to the USCIS. It is very important that you send every document correct and flawless. Then, less than 6months is guaranteed.
A legal immigrant who marries a U.S. citizen can apply for a green card, so s/he can stay in the U.S., travel outside the U.S. and re-enter, and work in the U.S.
No he cannot
If you are married, you can apply for divorce.
no green card or faulty marriage
Being married would not change the fact she is an illegal alien. She could still be sent back to her country of origin.
Well the baby is a U.S. Citizen and since the baby is a U.S. Citizen, in time the "illegal immigrant" may be able to get a green card and first of all an illegal immigrant isn't illegal if they have a visa, except if they were living and working in the U.S on a tourist visa,
the US citizen shouldn't
Absolutely not, don't even think about it.
My guess is no. You have to prove that you have a real marriage to stay.
US Citizens can't be deported from the US. Any alien can be deported.
They can stay here. When a green card holder marries a US citizen, he/she gets to share the benefits enjoyed by the US citizen. The US citizen can also file in for the green card holder's citizenship application.
If the baby was in the U.S. then the child is a US citizen. However, an illegal DOES NOT get legal status merely by having a citizen child, and in fact is still subject to deportation. The government does IN FACT deport illegals with citizen children.
