No the battery will not totally die but water may cause some damage to battery.normally all the
batteries are water proof and they are not effected with water if water doesn't enter inside it and make a chemical reaction with it's electrolyte or whatever according to battery type.
put it in rice, and after about 30 min. take the battery out
The battery or a malfuction from water or being dropped.
Theoretically - yes... The battery is a 'sealed unit' - and should be waterproof. You can place the battery on some absorbent paper - on top of a radiator for a few hours so that any water can evaporate.
How is a simlpe battery case dropped for a first time offender, with no priors of any kind?
the water probably made a short circuit in your battery so the battery is probably dead and a life saver. because the battery helped to keep the water from getting to the mainboard so the ipod still works only the battery is dead.
check battery if it has water and check the starter
try taking the battery out for a long time maybe a day and see if it works
it means that it has been dropped in water but don't worry it is not damaged just dry it out.
No the water was dropped, not the cup.correct
It ultimately turns into heat.
Well, if have pure water, the water molecule is electrically neutral, so it is not drawn to either terminal. Once a battery is dropped in the water, the sodium ions migrate towards the negative-tank and the chlorine ions migrate towards the positive-tank.
It means your Battery water level is low.Now depending on what type of battery you have, you can either unscrew the 6 or 8 knobs on top of the battery it-self and fill it to the brim with distilled water (If you use normal water it will die quicker.Or if you have the cash on you, buy a new battery.
