...because people are flawed and weak sometimes honey. In the long run try to look at this whole thing with a bit of compassion and realize she is only acting like a most humans would (perhaps even you) in a similar sitituation, meeting her needs for affection and touch. After all, if you and your ex were truly broken up he should be able to handle future relationships as he wished and as for your friend I know it must sting but still she didn't do it while you two were still together.
