Sale of a house is a matter of comparative desperation like in any other deal.
If the house must be sold soonest a drop of 10% to 15% may bring some response. Again it depends on how realistic the original price was.
Better idea would be to consult property dealers about the recent sales value a similar house fetched.
Again, if one wants to hold on until the right buyer with loads of cash materializes, one has to bet on the market going on an up-swing.
