That can be very, very serious. Actually, it can be deadly. One of my parents' cats has this problem constantly, and he has to take medication daily for it. For some reason, his bowels just get chronically blocked, and he can't poop. And like I said, this can be deadly.

So, you MUST take the cat to the vet. If it has been more than a few days -- like 3 days -- since the cat has pooped, then I would consider taking him to an animal emergency hospital immediately. Or at the very least, get a vet appointment within the next 24 to 48 hours. If you can't get the cat to the vet in less than 48 hours, then I would take him to a pet emergency hospital.

No, this is a bad idea. Try watering down some Pineapple Juice, that should help.
