My alero has done this twice now. I found out the problem is switch for the blinker is bad. Both times for me it has stopped making the noise before I actually got it fixed, so I haven't actually had mine replaced yet. The module inside the steering column that has both turn signal and wipers connected to it is the problem. You can remove the top cover of the steering column, disconnect the electrical connections and remove the module. There is one torque screw on top of the module. If you take the unit apart you can clean the terminals and put new grease(small amount) on them. There is a spring in the center of the unit that can be tricky to keep in when putting back together. Watch carefully as you open the module to see how the spring rests. When putting the module back on be sure to depress the connector on the front of the unit (facing you as you sit in the driver seat) so that it goes behind and rest on the circular metal plate on the steering column.
It's probably a broken engine mount. I have an 04 Alero and mine was broken. Jerking stopped when I replaced it.
I believe that it is behind the ashtry below the fuses. I stumbled on the broken flasher cannister there.
The 1990 VW Jetta turn signals will not work when the ground wire is broken or corroded. The turn signals may need the lightbulb's replaced.
Answer ScottmAKE SURE YOUR FUSES ARE GOOD AND YOUR WIRES ARE NOT BROKEN TO THE SOCKET. CERTAIN DODGE APPLICATIONS WILL MAKE ALL LIGHTS NOT WORK WHEN 1 IS OUT OR BROKEN.
The Flasher relay unfortunatly is located under the dash behind and under the stereo. stupid, but that's where its at.
If there is a clicking noise get it to a mechanic you engine is blown and may be saved. Most likely you'll need a new one because a lifter is broken and it would be cheaper.
To change out the flasher unit on a Holden Astra you must remove the back panel of the rear unit and access the bulbs. If the bulb in the flasher is not broken then you may need to replace the flasher relay system.
how to fix broken concrete drive way be repaired or does it have to be replaced?
to me it sound like a bad contact ,short to grnd, broken wire or bad connection on the batteries ,start by checking the battery .post and then the wire and connector if there any corrosion there
Have those two front tires checked out there might be a bulge or a broken belt in the tire.
broken wire likely
