no, because dentist and orthodontist are two diffrent fields. dentist clean teeeth, and orthadontist work on moving teeth. You will need to be examed by a orthodontist to find out what plan is for you. Dentist may however suggest braces, but most are not qualified to give you them.
And if you pay your orthodontist and he says it is safe for your mouth and wont mess anything up, then of course they will help you!
She doesn't have a lisp anymore. She did have a lisp because she used a retainer (which she calls a flipper - which she reveals in her book). She had braces for a short while but got then removed and switched for a retainer because she couldn't have braces on Hannah Montana. She doesn't use braces or a retainer now.
Braces are designed to move your teeth into better alignment. A retainer is designed to keep your teeth in their current position following braces. If your teeth are where you want them to be, you do not need braces or a retainer. If they are not, you will need to have them moved with braces followed by a retainer to hold them in place.
no you don't because just getting a retainer will put your teeth back because you've already had braces.
A retainer, though neither are cheap a retainer costs $500-1,000 and braces cost $5,000 for a full two year treatment
It has the same function as braces, but is only a wire. Like a retainer.
crack
Either just braces or both. I am 10 yrs old and i got my molds for my retainer yesterday and i will have that for 1 year and a half to 2 years. then i will get my braces for 2 years.
you will want to leave it on forever because if you stop wearing it your braces will not work and your teeth will move they can go back to normal or get worse if you don't wear your retainer
Sometimes before or after or both before and after...I hav braces but never had a retainer before but my friends had retainers before they got braces and some of them never got braces but still got a retainer so it just depends how f***ing bad ur teeth r..
If you don't wear your retainer, then your teeth will stick out and you have to wear braces again.
Yes. However, it's more likely that you'll get braces first for at least 6 months (half a year) and then get a retainer. Good luck! x
She should've gotten a retainer and worn the retainer as she was told to. If she didn't follow that, she'll probably have to get braces again.
