Well, this depends. If your pup has been on HeartGuard, most likely, his immune system will fight it off, he/she most likely will not catch it, so you should be safe, I would still watch out though. If your dog just got on it, and you think his/her immune system may still not be prone to it, it might not be able to fight it off yet, so you will want to be extra careful!
