If someone has a profile on myspace that is set to private and you are not a member of MySpace but click on their name can they trace with a tracker who you are and how often you click on their name?

If their profile is set to private, no. If it's not, it's only possible to track the IP addresses of visitors to their page.

There could be a couple of ways this has happened. Either a person knows your password or your account has been hacked into. If you can still get into your account, go into it and change your password. Do not have the same password for your email account as you do for your Myspace account. This is usually done by providing Myspace with a photo of you in front of the image you use as your profile image. If you account has been hacked, this usually happens when you or someone's profile has an application they embedded into their profile section that has a malicious code in it to access your log in information
