No. Once the person hits the snooze button, it should take them about 15-30 minutes to hit REM once again. Depending on how heavy a sleeper you are or the sleeping conditions, you might be able to hit the REM stage in under ten minutes.
The snooze button on the iTouch has the alarm clock allow you to snooze an extra five minutes, when the alarm goes off again. Essentially the "late" button.
Once the alarm goes off - and you press the snooze button, it starts an internal timer for a given period (usually 6-10 minutes depending on the manufacturer). Once the internal timer reaches zero, the alarm is triggered again and the snooze timer resets to its original period. You can usually hit the snooze button indefinitely, but to silence the alarm for good, you need to switch the alarm off.
The snooze button was invented in 1959. Westclox began putting that feature on their clocks because some individuals needed to be awakened a few minutes before they actually has to get up.
I have never heard of one that doesn't.
The "snooze button" is the one that stops the alarm but sets it to ring again several minutes later.
click the snooze button and home button at the same time and every thing on your screen we be taken a pic of and saved automatically in your photos
It is strongest in that moment in the morning after your alarm clock goes off and before you hit the snooze button.
It means like say you have your alarm on, say 6:00am well if you press snooze it will go off again at about 6:05am or if you have it set on a different time it will go off at about 6:15am Like mine I usually wake up at 7:00am and my clock snooze button is set for 5 minutes. It will keep going off in 5 minute fragments until you actually STOP the alarm.
Original answer: Go to settings, then menu settings , then scroll down to bottom of list and push center button when selector is on "snooze"The above doesn't make any sense for the 5g Touch or Phone. On these devices, the Snooze option is only available in the Clock alarms. The Calendar notifications do not have a Snooze option. It appears that the only way to add a Snooze to a Calendar is to jailbreak the device. There are workarounds (look for Snooze Me as an option) but nothing that really allows snoozing outside of the Clock alarms.
