No. Proper Christians do not hate anyone. But it is very difficult to decide what or who counts as a "proper Christian". The Bible can be used as a cover for individuals to mask their own hatred and claim that they are merely "following The Bible". But reading the Bible and following it are both selective activities. The reader chooses to value the Bible, and to give it special importance. Likewise, the reader decides which passages in the Bible matter and which he wants to agree with and follow. Few Christians really follow what it says in the Bible, because if they did, they would have to do all kinds of crazy things that no longer make sense in the modern world. So, one way to know whether someone is following the teaching of Jesus, as opposed to the Pharisaic legalist tradition of hypocrisy and authoritarianism, is to listen to whether they actually quote what Jesus said in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. If they only quote Paul and John, they are false Christians.

Why do some christians accept homosexuality and some don't?

There are a lot of people and churches who call themselves "Christian" but aren't Christian at all. True Christians who love God and the Savior Jesus Christ and read their bible and believe the true word of God do not accept homosexuality. God's Word plainly condemns not only homosexuals but all SIN. Anyone who does not believe this please read the Word of God. You will not get a straight answer from people who want you to believe homosexuality is right, but search the scriptures and find out for your self!

Sodom and Gomorrah is the first mention of homosexuality in the Bible, but it is likely that it existed before then.

Where is the Bible is the passage about Jesus being solicited by homosexuals and walking away from them?

There are no passages in the Bible where Jesus is solicited by homosexuals. In fact Jesus does not mention homosexuality in his teachings or in the gospels. The notable passages where homosexuality is mentioned are the account of the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah at Genesis 19 and later by the Apostle Paul when speaking of the former practices of Jews who had converted to Christianity at 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Are the Christian Crusades a preemptive Christian jihad?

No, there is no such thing as a Christian jihad. The Crusades were to establish European power in the Middle East, but disguised religiously to fool the common illiterate people who couldn't read the Bible (if they could, then they would have realized that the Bible condemns violence).

Is the bible against gay?

The Bible said it, i believe it , that settels itAnswerActually, the Bible has little to say about being gay and nothing about a loving homosexual relatonship as we would understand it today. There are three main references. The references in the Levitical Law can be dismissed as Christians are not bound by Levitical Law or else men would be circumcised and pork would be forbidden. The only other references are those of Paul in two of his letters. Both letters have been grossly misinterpreted by those prejudiced against homosexuals in order to lend credence to their beliefs. In the letter to the Romans Paul condemmns those who shun their natural sexuality in favour of unnatural sexuality but this verse is usually interpreted by some as indictment of homosexuality - but it can also refer to homosexuals forced into heterosexual relationships. In one of his letters to the Corinthians Paul does not condemmn homosexuals but 'arsenokoi' ( in the original Greek) or homosexual pagan temple prostitutes. In the verses there Paul condemns those who purport to be Christian but still indulge inb pagan practices with these prostitutes.Apart from these, there are no other explicit references to homosexuality at all, and certainly not a loving, commited same sex relationship as being wrong.

What did Jesus say about homosexuality?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He had more important things to worry about! Matthew 19:4 only talks about straight people. Not gay people.AnswerJesus did in fact condemn the behavior. A careful study of the Bible will enlighten the reader. And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' "and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?'" (Matt. 19:4.)

What are the issues of homosexuality?

I suppose it would depend on your views. A Christian might believe that an issue with being homosexual is the fact that it is considered a sin in the Bible. Really, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being homosexual. An issue that homosexuals might be afraid of, is the way everyone else will react to them. Alot of people think that it's just not right. Some say that AIDS is a factor in homosexuality. This is true, some homosexuals do have AIDS. However, many heterosexual people have AIDS too, so it is technically an issue with anybody, no matter what there sexual preferences are. All in all, there is no real issue with being homosexual- we only make issues for it.
