If the Bible was written by men how could it also be written by God?

Because the were Ghost Writing... (just in case you don't know what that is , it is when one person writes the story, and another person puts there name on it , and takes all the credit.) god didn't write The Bible he just spoke in it.

Pro:

I will leave room (and permission) for another to attempt to explain the 'will of god being enacted through men' for the pro side of this argument.

Con:

The Emperor Constantine of the Roman Empire, later known as the Holy Roman Empire or the Catholic Church, commissioned approximately 57 men to 'write the Bible.' These men debated the origin, use and translation of the original Jewish / Hebrew texts. During these debates (great) liberty was taken with translations, and many of the texts that did not condone the 'goals' of the church were intentionally left out, and in some cases banned to the point of heresy and death.

The Protestants then re-wrote the bible to fit their needs, and King James then re-wrote those two bibles to fit his needs.

In no case however is there one copy of 'The Bible' signed by 'god' in any form. Men wrote it, Men changed it for their own purposes, and Men preach it. (Men meaning humans).

Please also note that Thomas Jefferson knew of these 'liberties' taken by the Catholic church, and re-wrote the bible to a close approximation of its original wording (Stories).

To the last "Con:" answer.

Where is the reliable references? The fact is that there is no references at all. The writer could have made what he/she wrote up as he/she wrote it. Reliable references please.

Undoubtedly the Bible was written by men. However, some pious Christians seek greater certainty in the Bible than could be expected from books written by men, and therefore regard it as the 'word of God'. They say that the authors only wrote what God told them to write.
