Parking Lamps versus Turn Signal Lamps
Whether the turn signal will work when the parking lamp does not DEPENDS on they way they are wired, and this varies depending on vehicle make, model, and the way the circuit(s) are wired.
On some vehicles, the parking lamp is the same as the tail lamp, and and the turn signal, and they all "share" the same filament, and if that filament is burned out then the turn signal will not work.
If these functions are served by separate filaments, then when one is out the others will work. Therefore, the answer to your question depends on the your vehicle and the way it is wired.
Probably just a burned out bulb in the front one. Those bulbs have 2 elements so the marker light will still work but the blinker wont.
You remove the headlight to gain access to the back of the blinker housing, you can reach into the back of it and pull out the light and cable it's attached to. It's a pain.
It comes out the back of the light housing.
Check bulb if other side front is working.
Front or back?
It means that a bulb has burned out!
running or parking lights, or plate light, but that is singular.
Replace the tail light bulb from inside the trunk after pulling back the carpet. This should probably fix your blinker too.
Find the light, its in a yellow casing. Pull out the light by twisting, and pulling. Remove bulb from light, and insert new bulb. Then place back in casing, and twist.
when you flip your blinker on, a relay in the circuit is activated which turns the light on and off. also, the front blinker and rear blinker usually alternate in turning off and on, so when the back is on, the front will be off, and reverse.. that's why when a bulb is out, the clicking sound in the vehicle goes faster than when both are in working order.
lift the boot, and grab a screw driver and unscrew the light and then at the back of the light twist the bulb out and replace and twist it back in afterwards.
Yes, you pull the blinker switch back for low and high beam lights
