If you cannot purchase this part from a dealer try calling, or visiting, several auto salvage businesses. The CR-V engine is the same engine used in the Honda Civic and you should be able to find a wrecked CR-V or Civic with an intact engine somewhere.
When an axle breaks on a 1994 Honda Civic it is less expensive to replace it rather than repair it. Replacement axles in labor costs under $300 per side.
No repairing the cable. Replacement is the only option.
The transmission dipstick on a 1987 Honda Civic is located to the left of the oil dipstick. It is close to the left edge of the engine.
The cost to repair a Honda Civic car window is roughly $50. But if the damage is too great for repair you may have to go the replacement route. Your location also affects the final cost of car window repair or replacement. It seems like the further south in the US you go the cheaper the prices become. Not sure why but that just seems like the norm.
there is not a dipstick on a manual transmission
Honda transmission dipsticks are usually yellow. Oil sticks orange
The dipstick is located behind the steering wheel.
The dipstick for the 2004 Honda Accord is located beside of the battery. A funnel is needed to reach the tube to add fluid.
the oil dipstick is located between the exhaust manifold
If it is on an earlier model CRV it is located behind the exhaust manifold at the center front of the engine. This is really stupid engineering by Honda because the dipstick tube is hidden down low behind it. You can't see it in the dark, or dim light. What happens with the steel dipstick in that location is that the constant hot/cool temps rapidly rust the dipstick until it breaks off. This happened to mine. A new one is around $30. I have never ever had a dipstick tube rust off, and I have owned about 40 cars. I much prefer the German engineering of my VW.
You can find a Honda repair manual at most local libraries. You can also find the repair manual at most Honda dealerships.
There 's none.
