You'll most likely hear a knocking sound or squeaking of some kind
Bad bearing or rod
A bad wheel bearing does not sound like a jet engine. It is more of a grinding noise. If you only hear this during acceleration, I would suspect your breather intake is loose or disconnected. Unload the bearings by swerving right and left. If the noise disappears then you may indeed have a bad bearing. In other words if you swerve right and the noise disappears, suspect a bad right wheel bearing, etc.
Does a bad thow out bearing sound like a bearing
Engine rod? Engine bearing?
Glazed or slipping belt? bad bearing in belt driven accessory? i.e. alternator, water pump, etc.
A bearing going bad.
Probably a bad rod bearing
Usually when a wheel bearing goes bad, it will begin to make a high pitch noise like a bad humming sound and the sound increases as the speed of the vehicle increases. Take it to a shop and find out if they will check it for you.
Typically.... Connecting rod bearing / crank bearing. But it could also be piston slap, or flywheel.
first of all when you start engine it will first roll noiseless to start or less their is know oil in the engine for lublicant the bearing befor can hear
To the best of my knowledge, if the pulley is turning when the engine is running and there are no leaks from the water pump, it should be fine. A2: It shouldn't make a squealling sound , either. It can work passably and still have a bad bearing and/or seal. A bad bearing, though it may not leak, is a sign of imminent failure.
A bad tire or a bad wheel bearing.
