Fuel Knock!!!!!! Use higher grade fuel.
it is not fuel octane! take it from a 20 year master tech. you need to check to see if your egr valve is working...most likely the problem. if it is working you will need whats called a carbon vacuum done to the engine to remove all the carbon..im positive that will fix it if the egr valve doesnt. the truck was designed in the factory to run on 87 octane fuel and that's what you should use. premium is for high compression engines only..........Jeff
