If the odometer stopped working on a 1990 Ford Thunderbird how do you fix it?

happened to me...had to get a new one....cost about$400...it was

a 1990 s/c...hope this helps.

check speed censor

If your speedo and or cruise control still function, its not the

VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) It is likely the drive/worm gear on the

odo. unfortunatly, it'll probly cost $50 (Fifty) dollars for the

gear to replace it :) Try here, I'm in the process of repairing two

of my clusters now. 95/92 SC's May as well get some nice white

faces while your in there.

whatever you do, DO NOT reset the trip while you are driving.

that's probably what wore out the gears.
