The answer is always NO NO NO NO Nope, easiest way, would be to get some tubing from a hardware store (an icemaker tubing kit "may" work), and a syringe. Remove the dipstick and attach the tubing to that port. Attach the syringe and proceed with "sucking out" the oil into a proper oil holding container, checking the oil level, and repeat if necessary. Oil over-fill may result in increased MPG, splashing oil onto the engine, and other problems if droven for long periods of time under those conditions, which is why I always check my oil every 3rd fill-up atleast (about once a month).
It can blow out a main seal, or even a gasket if it is overfilled regularly. But usually it will just burn off. at least that's what I've heard a few people say.
drain oil from oil pan. theh add oil
overfilled engine oil
If you overfilled the oil then you can drain some out. There are small hand held pumps that would work fine for the purpose. The exact process would depend on what you overfilled and how much. If the overfill is slight it might not matter on some things and be a big problem in some other. You did not say what you overfilled to give a real exact answer.
It would most likely burn some oil, i would def drain some though. i dont htink it would hurt it but it will have to work harder being in solid oil.
The engine oil is overfilled.
Your engine is most likely overfilled with oil. Check your oil and make sure it isn't overfilled. However a little oil coming out the exhaust isn't gonna hurt anything, your just gonna waste a heak of a lot of oil
oil will pour out. that's what the dipstick is for. Check it and if needed, drain some out.
1 Crankcase breather blocked 2 Worn/ broken piston rings 3 worn cylinder bores 4 Worn valve stem oil seals 5 Worn valve guides 6 Engine is overfilled with oil.
Yes, it is really not a good idea.
You overfilled the crankcase!
If the motor is healthy, the oil will burn off in a moment or two.
