Tarot cards don't predate trinitarian doctrine. The first known decks of tarot appeared in Italy in the late 1500's early 1600's. ...Although, there are loads of Catholic symbols in the early cards. The English language decks have a card called the "Hierophant" which until the 20th century was "The Pope" card.
