The Ford 2.3 L (gas) engine is not an Interference engine. No damage should have occurred when the belt broke unless the engine was being over revved. The belt should be replaced every 60,000 miles. But, you have noise and a miss, so something is wrong. Pull the valve cover and see what is going on.
*** The Timing is off, that's why it is missing. When you put the new belt on you must line the timing tabs up. There should be a tab on the camshaft gear that has to be in line with the harmonic balancer tab. ***
CHECK THE TIMING
Runa compression check. If it has low compression in that cylinder you might have a burned or sticking valve.
If you have replaced your trailing coil, you may want to check the ground connections between your engine, body, and negative battery terminal. This will usually solve the problems you are describing, as well as others that may not be fully apparent.

If your Chevy 350 marine engine misses at high speed, you might have an issue with the timing. This can be adjusted. You also may have an issue with the fuel filter or injectors. Spark plugs can do that also.
The wiper blade misses the windshield in the middle of the wipe. Is there an adjustment for that ? I have replaced the wiper to no avail.
u might have a vaccum line loose
A 2000 Silverado 5.3 Vortec that is hard to start and misses on one side of the engine might have a problem with the coil pack or the spark plugs. It could also mean that the block is cracked if the engine is prone to overheating.
Misses is correct.
Assuming the plugs and wires have already been replaced you may have a bad fuel injector.
Your distributer or your coil
You might want to replace ignition calbles too.
