The 2005 and up Mustangs don't have dipsticks Ford considered sealed so it shouldn't need fluid unless it has a leak.
The dipstick cover is labeled Transmission Fluid. Transmission fluid on a 2000 Ford Mustang is added in the neck of the dipstick tube after the dipstick has been removed.
Maintaining transmission fluid in a car is important to keeping a car running smoothly. A person adds transmission fluid in the same tube of the dipstick, where they check the transmission fluid.
No dipstick on the manual transmission , fluid level is checked underneath the car at the transmission fill plug
There is no dipstick on the standard transmission , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission
On a 2005 Ford Mustang GT the automatic transmission does not have an automatic transmission fluid level dipstick ( and the manual transmission fluid level is checked underneath the vehicle at the transmission fill plug )
THere is no dipstick on a 2005-2007 Mustang since Ford considereds the transmission sealed it wont need fluid added unless it has a leak or you are changing the fluid.
you pour it down the transmission dipstick tube.....use a funnel.and only check the transmission fluid level when the fluid is hot....(use a thick towel)..... and add as much as needed to get the level to the hot mark on dipstick...... ,Neal
You can add transmission fluid to your 1969 Mustang transmission through the dipstick holder. Using a funnel will make the job easier.
Actually , the manual transmission does not have a dipstick , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission
You can check the transmission fluid level in your 1998 Chevrolet Corvette with the transmission fluid dipstick. The transmission fluid dipstick will have indicating marks as to the level of the transmission fluid.
If it is an automatic transmission, then it should have a dipstick to check the fluid level. Depending on the make and model, the location of this dipstick will vary. If it is a manual transmission, then the fluid level really can't be checked and it will not have a dipstick.
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , the fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission underneath the car
